NOTICE regarding After the Bombs: Unfortunately, Fiction Reborn has been forced to close down and won’t be publishing my story. I will be shopping it around to various sci fi magazines.
My short story – After the Bombs - is being published by Fiction Reborn in July 2008. A great synopsis plus updated publication information can be found here. I hope all you sci fi fans take a look at my story and like it. I’m not going to review it or any of my other work that gets published on this blog (for obvious reasons – of course I love it). But, I will keep this page updated with my latest and greatest publications.

Congratulations Julia! Great news. I’ll be sure to check out your writing. I myself am completely incapable of writing short stories and admire and envy anyone who has the chops to do it.

Thanks Jo! I’ll keep everyone posted on the exact release date. I suppose the grass is always greener – I wish I could write longer stories with less trouble. I’ve been working on the same novel for over a year!
June 9th, 2008 at 3:59 pmYay Julia! Can’t wait to read it!
July 29th, 2008 at 6:57 amThanks Rachel! I’m going to submit it to a couple Sci Fi mags. I’ll let you know what comes of that.
August 4th, 2008 at 5:06 pmSo how could one get a copy to read?
September 25th, 2008 at 11:11 pmRight now, one can’t.
I’m working on it though. I’m either going to get it published, or I’ll work out a way my friends and readers can get a copy to read. I’ll keep everyone posted and post any updates here, or in the RUABookworm blogging area.
